Progressives Candidates Unite to Win in 2024

We will not succeed in stopping war, inequality, exploitation and destruction of the planet unless we elect the whole slate of new progressive Democrats to Congress.

In the 2024 elections, Progressive candidates can take control of the White House and the House of Representatives if we work together. Collaborate. Cooperate. Coordinate. We can change the course of human history and save the planet.

Government must radically change. Our planet is burning while those currently in power throw more fuel on the fire, apparently caring only about gaining more money and power.

War. Bullets, missiles and bombs. Drilling. Mining. Dumping. Spilling. Deforestation. Gas and oil pipelines. Uranium. Plastics. Petrochemicals. Bioweapon labs. Rockets ad satellites. Pesticides and poisons. Toxic leaks and explosions. Factory farming and fishing. Poverty, refugees, homelessness, hunger, exploitation and suffering. Lost cultural diversity. Bigotry and hate. We are way past the planet's tipping point as planetary systems begin a feedback loop which accelerates planetary chaos: Record heat. Drought. Floods. Ocean temperatures rising. Vanishing glaciers. Melting polar ice. Invasive species. Mass extinctions. Lost biodiversity. 

More than 100 years of kings and rulers killing, destroying, pillaging, and plundering the planet. Studies estimate no more than 23% of Earth's wilderness remains untouched, unaltered, and intact. What's already been destroyed would take 500 or more years to come close to what existed. Many complex and fragile ecosystems may be gone forever. Once a living system is killed, it doesn't come back to life.

The best we can do is immediately stop further destruction and begin working to heal the Earth. Five years from now will be too late. In 2022, President Biden signed an accord in Scotland pledging to stop deforestation by 2030. He knows very well there will be nothing left to save.

We have the distinct honor of being the generation to have killed the Earth. In the thousands of years that human societies have existed, we are the ones that have brought about the death of the biosphere. We have destroyed global ecosystems and disrupted the planetary systems that maintain balance which has sustained complex and advanced life forms for thousands, millions of years.

Shameful. Monstrous. Outrageous.

Total and irreversible devastation is not the inheritance we ought to leave the next generations. But that will happen very soon if we do not change the policies, priorities and actions of the US government.

It's obvious that the men who wield power and control will never change. In 2024, they can't even refrain from building more weapons of mass destruction and starting new wars. There is no such thing as a moral, ethical billionaire or weapons manufacturer. If they had a conscience and a functioning moral compass, they would be neither of those things.

We've known about end-stage ecocide and climate change since the 1960's. Yet in that time, the ruling elite have only increased their policies of destruction and exploitation. Since 2020, even as they stopped the world because of a virus, they have allocated increasingly more resources for weapons and war every year. They have approved more drilling and mining for oil, gas, coal, uranium and other metals used in industry and war. They have started new wars. Cut down more 2000-year-old forests.

No amount of lobbying will make them choose fairness and healing over money and power.

They need to be replaced. Voted out of office.

The People can install elected officials who will change government so that it prioritizes the health of people and planet. Each and every war-mongerer, planet-destroyer, bully and bigot needs to lose their bid for re-election in 2024.

The future of the planet depends on the outcome of the US 2024 elections. The American people have the power to save the world. If we vote in record numbers and elect new leaders that stand for peace and healing, then our immense global power and influence can end war, destruction and exploitation. 

But we must act in 2024. After four more years of the same, it will truly be too late.

2024 is the year that the American public, the workers of this great nation must wake up, rise up and vote for a completely new slate of leaders who will end the business of death that has brought us to the brink of irreversible global catastrophe.

In doing so, we make our own lives better- safer, cleaner, fairer and more fulfilling.
