This film is disturbing, horrifying, heart-breaking and important. Factory fishing since 1970 has driven most large sea life near extinction. More destructive than oil spills and consumer plastic. Factory fishing ships, with mile long plastic nets, are decimating ocean fisheries such that small indigenous/local/ family/ collective fishing cannot survive. This causes loss of livelihood and even starvation within local communities.
Industrial fishing corporations want us to believe there is "dolphin safe" and "sustainable fishing". Turns out there is no such thing. It's another corporate lie.
